Believe: Guest Post by Sharon Cullen

sharon cullenThe presents have been opened, the Christmas cookies eaten and of course, we now know the Mayans were way wrong. Now we’re looking forward to a new year.
A new beginning.

It’s time to think about what we want to accomplish and to set some goals.

2013 is already shaping up to be a great year for me. My debut book from Loveswept, The Notorious Lady Anne, will be released in February as well as The Infamous Lord Blythe later in the year.sharon cullen

For years my motto has always been one word. Believe. It can encompass whatever I want it to. Believe and you will achieve. Believe in yourself. Believe in your dreams. This one word has propelled me to be the best writer I can be. To not quit when the odds seemed stacked against me.

For me it’s such a powerful word, one in which I hung my dreams on. Dreams that will come true in February of 2013. Other dreams that are not yet realized as well.

Instead of asking everyone what their goals are, or what they’d like to see happen in the coming year, I’m going to ask you something altogether different.

If you could only pick one word to sum up what you want 2013 to be for you, what would it be?

sharon cullenAfter earning a degree in journalism from Ohio University, Sharon found the stories inside her head were more interesting than what was going on in the world around her. Yet, it wasn’t until years later that she decided to pursue her secret dream of writing a romance novel. Since then she’s been published in romantic suspense, paranormal romance and contemporary romance and historical romance.

Sharon’s other job descriptions include chauffer, laundress, cook and mediator to her three very busy kids, her husband and two dogs. She lives in southwest Ohio with her brood although her dream is to someday retire to St. Maarten and live on the beach.

Her debut historical romance, The Notorious Lady Anne, will release from Loveswept in February, 2013, followed by The Infamous Lord Blythe, later in 2013.
