Talking With Kyra Davis: Deceptive Innocence

I first read this story as an e-serial a few months ago, and now it’s available for the first time in print.  As someone who prefers a great book to watching TV, reading  Deceptive Innocence  was the experience I wanted to have watching Revenge. The set-up is similar, but the heroine is far more relatable and the eroticism drives the story more than the mechanics of retribution. Below is a conversation we had with author Kyra Davis when the e-serial launched in February. LB: I love this story! It’s one of those books that make me think damn, I wish I wrote this. What gave you the idea for this revenge story/ star-crossed passion? KD: Wow, what a compliment, thank you! As [...]

Talking Red-Hot Cowboys with Tina Leonard

Tina Leonard is here today to talk about her love of hunky men, her new Hell’s Outlaws series, and her summer TBR. Since LAST OF THE RED-HOT COWBOYS is the start of a new series called Hell’s Outlaws, tell us about the players we’ll meet. Come by www.pinterest.com/tinaleonard1 and visit the Hell’s Outlaws board to meet the characters! Two of my favorites are Mayor Judy and Sheriff Steel Durant.  They’ve got a big plan for Hell, Texas, and bringing on a team of excellent female riders to learn bullfighting is the headline—although, as we all know, there are secret plans afoot! No good matchmakers are ever without their secret magic wands!  Mayor Judy just happens to believe that to settle the Hell’s [...]

L. Marie Adeline Reveals her S.E.C.R.E.T.S

In anticipation of the release of the final book in the erotic SECRET series, author L. Marie Adeline has answered some of the questions we had about writing erotica, how to keep plots exciting and more. Find her SECRET series here.  Q. How does it feel to be publishing SECRET Revealed, the final book in the SECRET series? A. Exhilarating, satisfying, quite sad. I can hardly believe it’s over. I remember working on the first draft of book two, SECRET Shared, and thinking, I will never be able to do this. When I was almost done with that draft, there was talk of a final book three, and I was filled with self-doubt. And yet, I knew I’d need the time to tell the whole story [...]

Adventures in Glitterland: Talking With Alexis Hall

“When you strip everything away, it doesn’t matter if she’s a film star, or if you’re both boys or both girls, all there is is love, and the fundamental human need to seek it out and give it.” – Alexis Hall The novel Glitterland by U.K. novelist Alexis Hall is sexy, funny, and deeply romantic. Think Four Weddings and a Funeral with more sex and a gay romance. I loved this book so much I tracked down the brilliant author, all the way across the pond, and asked him to stop by R@R for a few questions. LB: You are a complete mystery to me but I freakin’ loved your book. So here we go from your new fan girl: [...]
