I love when an author uses secondary characters (bff's and siblings) to further these characteristics too (Shelly Laurenston/ GA Aiken, Meljean Brook, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Moira Rogers & Vivian Arend are key examples of this). I think this reflects my marriage. We've known each other for 12 years (friends for 2, dated for 8 and married for almost 2) and have always been besties and mates and well as a couple. Now it is taking us through the most difficult time of our lives, he will not see another Valentine's Day or Mardi Gras. Our perfect chemistry...I would not have missed a day.
